Who I write for
I write Oak & Cents for the person who handles the money at home. Maybe you are juggling a credit card, a car payment and a student loan, while keeping rent and groceries covered on one regular paycheck. You do not need a lecture. You need a plan you can start tonight: what to pay first, how much to send and about how long it will take. So every guide here shows the math step by step. The free calculator lets you check it with your own numbers. The printable trackers turn progress into something you can see. These are the same simple systems I use with my own paycheck. A small paycheck is not a character flaw, and slow progress still counts.
